Midalidare's brand of the same name honors the nature and climate conditions typical of the village of Mogilovo. Part of the company's wine philosophy is to grow only grape varieties suitable for the winery's unique terroir. The Midalidare brand presents the remarkable features of the area in combination with the varietal characteristics of the grapes. The Midalidare are terroir wines expressing the specifics of the varieties, individually or in blend. The charm of this series is visually supported by the beautiful monochrome wine labels: each varietal or blended wine has its own unique color.
Yellow is the colour of Midalidare Cabernet Sauvignon & Petit Verdot. The wine is a blend of two red varieties, part of the classic Bordeaux blend typical of the so-called "Left bank" in the great French wine region. Although rarely used in its home country - France, this combination of varieties is very popular. Both varieties reveal their extraordinary potential in Mogilovo and complement each other perfectly in Midalidare Cabernet Sauvignon & Petit Verdot. Each variety undergoes traditional for Midalidare vinification: cold soak, alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel vats and post-maceration. The wine is aged in oak barrels for 10-12 months, blending and bottling follows.
Midalidare Cabernet Sauvignon & Petit Verdot 2018 reveals deep, ruby red colour. Complex, spicy and attractive aromas dominated by ripe red berries and subtle oak. Elegant and lively wine with excellent dense body. The taste is dominated by ripe berries, currants, blackberries and oak.
Midalidare Cabernet Sauvignon & Petit Verdot 2018 volume 750 ml is now available on the market and at Midalidare e-shop.
